From a WhatsApp message to your reply

WhatsApp Web is WhatsApp's own browser version. It mirrors the chats on your phone and takes a couple of minutes to link. You need Breezily in Chrome first: set up Breezily in Chrome.

  1. Open web.whatsapp.com in Chrome. A QR code appears.
  2. On your phone, open WhatsApp and go to Linked devices. On iPhone it is in the Settings tab. On Android tap the three dots at the top right.
  3. Tap Link a device and scan the QR code. Your chats appear in the browser and stay in sync with your phone.
  4. Open the chat and highlight the message you want to answer. Right-click and choose Reply with Breezily.
  5. The side panel opens on the right of the window, beside the chat, with the read and two or three replies.
  6. For a long thread or a group chat, take up to four screenshots and add them to the panel instead.
  7. Pick a reply, adjust it if you need to, copy it into WhatsApp, edit anything and send it yourself.

Your chats stay yours

Breezily has no content scripts, so it cannot read WhatsApp Web or any other page. It sees only the message you highlight or the screenshots you add. Breezily is independent and not affiliated with WhatsApp.

Questions

Does Breezily read my WhatsApp chats?

No. It sees only what you highlight or screenshot and send to it. Your other chats are never opened.

Does it work in group chats?

Yes. Screenshots work best for groups, because they show who said what.

Does linking WhatsApp Web change my encryption?

No. WhatsApp keeps its end-to-end encryption on linked devices. Breezily is not involved in that link at all.
