Set up the Breezily keyboard on Android
The Android keyboard is coming soon. This is how setup will work, so you know what to expect.
Turn it on and switch to it
Android needs two system steps where iPhone needs four. The app opens both screens for you. Before you start, read what the keyboard warning means. Get notified for Android when the keyboard is ready.
- Install Breezily and open the app. The Keyboard screen ticks each step as you finish it.
- Tap Open keyboard settings or go to Settings, System, Languages and input, On-screen keyboard. Turn on Breezily. Some phones name these menus slightly differently.
- Android warns that the keyboard may be able to collect all the text you type. It shows this for every keyboard you add. Once you have read what it means for Breezily, tap OK.
- Tap Choose keyboard in the app and pick Breezily. Later you can switch with the keyboard button at the bottom of the screen.
- Copy a message in any chat, tap the reply field and the reply writes itself above the keys. Tap Use this, edit and send.
Replying from screenshots
Select up to four screenshots of the chat, tap Share and choose Breezily. The keyboard uses them for the next reply.
Questions
Do I need to allow paste like on iPhone?
No. Android lets the keyboard you are using read the clipboard, so copying a message is all it takes.
Is it on Google Play?
Not yet. The Android keyboard is coming soon. Leave your email on the Android page to hear when it is ready.
How do I go back to my usual keyboard?
Tap the keyboard button at the bottom of the screen and pick it. Breezily stays installed until you turn it off in Settings.
